The AIDS Walk raises funds for HIV Community Link.
Building on a 38-year legacy, HIV Community Link's programs focus on prevention, education and support. Working in Calgary and Medicine Hat, our organization is dedicated to offering wraparound services to achieve longterm outcomes for people at risk of HIV and other sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections through sexual health and substance use.
Based on a philosophy of harm reduction, we meet clients wherever they are on their journey, free of judgement, and with a goal to help improve their current situations.
Our prevention work is evidence-based, focusing on key populations including gay, bi and other men who have sex with men, African, Caribbean and Black Communities, people using substances, Indigenous Communities, and people involved in sex work.
We also offer educational opportunities to service providers, community partners and the general population on our work while also advocating for the people we serve.
