For the last 25 years, the Calgary AIDS Walk & Run is a vibrant, fun event where people from across Calgary come together to show support and fundraise for those affected by HIV.
Participants can choose between a 3km walk or 5km run. The event will begins in Eau Claire Plaza with live music, African dancers, Indigenous performers, and more. Once the Walk & Run kicks off, the path will take you along the beautiful Bow River and loop right back around to the Plaza, where you can enjoy a delicious complimentary lunch with your team!

Over 7,200 Albertans have been diagnosed with HIV. It is estimated that 63,100 people are living with the illness and 1 in 7 Canadians don’t know they have it.
